CMR models 1956 Jaguar D Type 1:18 #8 Le Mans winner.
This is a brand new 'kirbside' model of the Jaguar D Type 'long Nose' driven in the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1955 by Don Beauman and Norman Dewis. The car was retired after 11, hours ending up in a sand trap for an hour, Don Beauman dug the car out only to be hit by Colin Chapman and the car was out of the race.
Famous for the horrendous accident, this is a rarely produced model of the hugely successful D Type.
A great budget model it looks fabulous and displays very well. If you want this car to complete a collection or just to display by itself this is a good inexpensive option. Comes with a black display base detailing the model.
